Wandsworth Arts Fringe
Wandsworth Arts Fringe
Golden Tent was erected in All Saints Church, Tooting on 21st & 22nd June as part of the Wandsworth Arts Fringe. The event, ‘Arts for Sanctuary’, was organised by the Rev Dr June Boyce-Tillman and was an inclusive, interfaith event in the church across the two days, with live music, visual art work, talks and a film presentation. Many people spent time inside the tent, and during the ‘Sounds of Sanctuary’ hour, singing bowls, gong, bells, flute and other instruments were played in the space around it. Well done to June and to the people of All Saints Church for hosting a beautiful welcoming event.
“Dear Jill,
This is a personal thank you for the amazing contribution from you and the golden tent to this event. People are still talking about the transformative experience of being in the tent. Thank you for sharing your amazing creation. I hope we can work together again in the not too distant future.
With so much gratitude,
June”
